I may be able to pick up a couple of different types of chicks but with a 2 - 3 week age difference between them. Will the older ones beat up the younger ones if I combine them in the brooder?

    Thanks!

I mixed 3 days to 3 weeks of age and had zero issues. I put everyone in the brooder at the same time so there wasn't any established order yet, gave them ample space, and set up a couple of hiding places (which the smallest chick did use when she got a bug and didn't want anyone taking it away). I worried that the biggest ones would trample the smallest but they're more durable than they look.
