My friend got 3 runner ducklings and sadly lost 2. She asked if I could take it on as she didn’t want it to be alone while she was at work etc me being me couldn’t say no
No idea how old he/she is but it’s just started getting its adult feathers on its ‘tail’
I have 5 khaki Campbell chicks (all hens) that are approximately 1 week old, there’s a considerable size difference between the runner & the campbells, is there anyway they can brood together? Or would the runner squash or bully the others? Assuming if not that eventually they could share a house & run in the garden? Or is the runner destined to be alone? I’ve tried finding some runners of a similar age with no luck
