MIXING flocks???

My old farmer friend says to keep them apart. Because when the turkeys fan their feathers the hens will pick @ their butt feathers.
Really that's what he said, The other ol' farmer down the road has his divided by screen as well. We had both when I was a kid, never remember a problem but then again I was 10

They can be kept together, however, it is best to keep them separate. Chickens can carry Blackhead which can be fatal to turkeys. My neighbor keeps them together and is constantly having to medicate the turkeys.
