Mixing Leghorns with RIR's

Hey Yall, The gate has been open between the RIR's and the Leghorns for 2 weeks. They mix and mingle, but they always go back to their own pad. The RIRs are afraid of the Leghorns. They must have traumatized them through the fence. Do you think they'll get better?

From what I hear chickens are very color conscious. They stick to their own flock for protection etc. But 2-weeks isn't very long. Give them more time to adjust and they will probably mix together more and more when they are out and about....but probably sleep with the ones they are used to being with at night.
