So, I had a female quail die who was housed with another female and one male, can I successfully integrate that male and female in a cage with two other females and one male?

You have one too many males there, there is no way to intregate that many roosters into a pen unless it is a huge aviary.

Even then the boys will spend a lot of time chasing each other. Ask me how I know LOL

Yes, the boys will roo each other from time to time.

The best mix is one roo to 3-5 hens, but I have some very strange pen setups myself.

It's not an ideal situation, but stranger things have happened.

Can you do it? Yes.
Will it work out fine forever? No.

Just my best guess
