mixing quail with chickens

Can I put quail in the same coop as my chickens?
I can not imagine trying to find quail eggs in all that litter. So would I build a quail sized nest box to encourage the quail to use it? We will have no roosters if that means anything.

Quail fly. Quail also do not use nest boxes, they walk, stop for a moment, lay an egg and continue on their merry way. They are also small, much smaller than chickens=pecking by chickens. I would definitely recommend a separate house. Ours are in a former rabbit hutch. They love it and are safe.
