Yes this makes total sense I wonder why her vet is saying it is ok. I won't give any until treatment is over. Did you also retreat with Corid in a few weeks as others have done? Thanks

Because she is using Sulmet, a different medicine.

It would be for anyone that thinks they have coccidiosis to try if Corid doesn't work. It is an antibitotic, so it might work for some bacterial infections, too.

Sulmet is sulfamethazine and people on BYC say it's not as safe as the other. If you can, talk to a vet or pharmacist about the differences.
