Mixing younger chicks with older chicks

I have 3 chickens that are about 11 weeks old and 7 chickens that are about 6 weeks old, my question is what do I do when the older chickens start laying before the younger ones and the older ones need laying feed, how do I feed different feed when they all are together??

I have the same problem. I'm solving it by building a chicken tractor I’ll set next to the run of my big coop. I'll stick the younger chicks in that until they start on layer rations. They'll get used to the other chickens, but aren’t in the same pen. Then I'll use the tractor to raise a batch of X's for the winter!! Win/Win!!

Well MAX the only bad thing that I see about that is my younger chicks arer used to being with the older chickens and they are actually getting along now.
