Ah hah!!

I found this old post confirming Janet gave up laying last time she moulted!

I could've sworn she'd never stopped laying. Funny how unreliabe my memory is. I'll probably forget all about this post by the time I get home from work

While the two are not actually related, mine usually are not laying when they molt. It is the amount of daylight which aligns with the molting season.
