I took a day off today in case I needed to rest after yesterday's az top up. So of course I worked in the funrun for a few hours
Made a shade shelter out of four logs, some lattice and some leafy branches.

And moved the little coop.

Relocated the wine barrel, tipped it on its side and gave it a screen. I'll put some straw in there tomorrow on top of the soil.

And I piled up all the logs to make a climbing frame and shady shelter.

The hens had a fantastic day inspecting all the works and digging for bugs.

It's a much more usable space now. It feels more harmonious.

And there's more shade! The hens will appreciate that in a few months
