Thanks Sussex.I haven't been on very much the last few days.
@LozzyR I'm so sorry for all the problems you are having

Awww… look at that sweet little pullet egg.Thank you Michelle. The agapanthus on her grave is doing well and I look forward to its first flowers in a couple of years.
She was a very sweet little pullet. I liked her. I would have another Dorking if one ever came my way.
The other two pullets are thriving.
Actually the big news is that Edie is definitely a pullet, because she's started laying. Well ahead of schedule. She may be several weeks older than I'd been told. On her first day as a hen, she laid a tiny egg and two soft shelled eggs. Since then, she's been hiding them in the prunings pile.

I was expecting much larger eggs from her, but I guess she's still got some maturing to do.Edie's are so teeny tiny compared to those big ones.
It's such good news that she is a she !!I was expecting much larger eggs from her, but I guess she's still got some maturing to do.
And how developed her comb and wattles are! It's such good news that she is a she !!
If she is older than you were told maybe it explains how broad she was.
They'll get there.I was expecting much larger eggs from her, but I guess she's still got some maturing to do.
