Love the story about the cat grieving because his brother(?) went to the vet- then so happy when he returned home. Animals definitely have feelings along the order than humans do.

They say if one of your cats passes you need to show the body to your other cats so they can mourn. We did not do that when Dr. Zoidberg passed last year and my other two were a mess for weeks. They were definately connected.

He and Daisy, the greatest hen ever, passed within 2 weeks of each other. Here they are together as Daisy breached the backdoor looking for worms.

Well, Sandy's on the nest. We need to get in the car and go but I daren't pick her up her in case her egg breaks inside. I think we'll still be there before 9, but it'll be a close call.

No more car rides til Saturday

So I made it special with a stop at the beach. It was her first time viewing the sea. She looked at it for some time.
