When we had that issue here we screwed a small cat food tin to the end of a stick.
it made for a perfect long handled spoon to fish out the eggs.

That is very clever. I can't decide if i just want to close it off and leave the eggs under there, assuming that's where they are. I am also having these uncomfortable thoughts now. What if one of them was hurt and under the deck?

The funny thing is that I know stuff like that really well. Yet I still say the wrong things. I'd like it if my noggin was a little more reliable.

The SCA stands for the ‘Society of Creative Anachronisms’ and can also be found in the UK and the States. Each county or state has its own SCA name and Canberra/ACT is called ‘Politarchopolis’, as a play on it being the political capital. ACM was from the Barony of Rowany, which is Sydney, or NSW (she can correct me if I’m wrong).
