When I told the cat's vet (a feline specialist) about it, he was impressed!

They're really enjoying their afternoon excursions beyond their yard

It's become such a source of delight for the hens, I'm calling a few fencing people tomorrow to put a side gate in. It'll reduce the risk of dog attack.
