It'll be good for me to observe a hatch! I've never done that before.Good evening MJ and everyone
I'm sure you could add a few more, maybe some sparkling ones , that's great that you'll be there on hatch day !!
They were so cute!! Still are.If they are co-sitting when the chicks hatch what will happen do you think?
Will they fight over them or co-parent?Having 2 hens looking out for the babies would surely be an advantage.

I'm looking forward to it from an observational point of view too. I've never seen a hatch before much less a co-parented hatch. It'll be fascinating. Will Peggy mellow? Will Ivy assert? This will be inreresting to see.
Do you have any other chickens?Thank you
Just a warning, it can be a nail biting experience. Trust your girls. Also just note that you might hear peeping up to a day before they hatch. As soon as they internally pip, they start singing and once they externally pip they get louder. It'll be good for me to observe a hatch! I've never done that before.
Ok this is really good info. Thanks. I will try to keep my cool!Good morning MJ, have a great day...
