They really have done well. I hope it's been habit-forming.

Oh my goodness!I am getting nervous!
Less than a week to go MJ. Hang in there!Oh my goodness!
I've been hoping for the best while fearing the worst since the eggs arrived
It's an emotional rollercoaster!
Thank you! June and Basil lay kind of dark eggs, they are not as dark as they to be. They also have dark speckles on them. Congrats with the eggs! I hope you have happy and healthy chicks! They sound lovely
Do Basil and June lay very dark eggs?
Lila sounds particularly gorgeous. I love black hens.
I am going through my first ever hatch right now with Peggy and Ivy co-parenting two fertile eggs. All going well, I expect them to hatch any time from Sunday-Tuesday.
My neighbours gave me the eggs. They have a BA rooster and he has three hens: two little red sexlink laying hens and one light sussex. I'm pretty sure the eggs are from the redheads, so I'm looking forward to little chicks with BA father and redhead mothers. I'm kinda hoping they come out unique coloured so I can tell them apart!
You're so lucky to have a hen friend who falls asleep in your arms! I would love that.
Can't wait to see some photos when you've got time
Like any expectant father.I am getting nervous!
She is looking quite beautiful.Less than a week to go MJ. Hang in there!
