MJ's little flock

There's still time I hope.:fl

Do you suppose Ivy will know if the egg is not viable and give up?
I don't know. I hope so. Today it's one day late. I'll give it a good long while before I take the eggs away. Maybe Tuesday. That would make it a 28 day egg. I really don't want to throw it out too soon. If there's a chick getting ready, it needs me to leave it be.

By the way, ACM I bought an agapanthus to put in above the chick's grave. An old fashioned purple one like nana had. I'll do that job this evening when it's cooler.

Thank goodness for that.! ❤️👍

I frequently suffer from severe foot-in-mouth disease and only realize how something sounds when it's too late, if I realize at all...😜

Thank you for your patience, understanding, er dispensation? Any way, thanks!
Me too! I'm often too blunt.

Excellent strategy. Give Ivy and the chick as long as possible. There really is no risk.

That's very sweet. ❤️
Agapanthus are very hardy plants. (They are so hardy that they are a bit of a weed in the Blue Mountains and you have to take the heads off after flowering to prevent the seeds spreading.) Can't kill 'em with a brick as my Pop used to say. 😅

It should grow well for you and the little chick.
