It could be, especially given the junior nature of Phyllis and her position in the group.
I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but ideally a sitting hen should feed twice when off the nest. The first feed when she wakes up. Then usually they go and poop and bath and caht to their mates. On their return to the nest they normally feed again to top up and this is the feed that makes the difference ime.

You may be right. As I am remembering it Phyllis would eat and drink once she broke out of her trance. Then she would poo. Then she would dustbathe. After that grooming with the tribe. Then she would head back to the nest. She did not eat before going back onto the nest.

They're a great shape! And the flat, wide arms are a perfect table for a drink. A little hard to get out of if you're tired, but I call it "incidental exercise"
