MJ's little flock

Not nagging. Whenever. Now and then. Just saying I really liked those and they always inspire me to try and be better at sitting down to breakfast!
A leisurely breakfast on the weekend is a comfy way to say thanks to myself for my hard work through the week :)

Next weekend it'll be Peggy's eggs on the plate! She gave me one today, along with Ivy's first egg in months.

How wonderful. Lovely eggs too. Such pretty colors. 😍

That is excellent news! :wee :wee
Such a relief. Third jab today. 4th and 5th to go. And Mark's not charging us for this round! What a lovely gesture.

Interestingly, he prefers injecting birds to oral administration because they're like reptiles in that sometimes they push food through without digesting it properly! I never knew that. I don't know if it holds for every bird or every chicken breed. I'd have thought meat chooks very good at digestion.

I also wonder if I misunderstood. Maybe he was talking about the crop as a larder. Maybe antibiotics lose effectiveness if they sit in the crop waiting to be digested.
