It's utterly gorgeous weather today. I have to get a few groceries and do a few chores, but I'm going to spend a few hours this afternoon sitting in the backyard, just being.

It was very peaceful. Somehow I was in the right mood for it

There's not much going on with the hens just now. Mary is gradually rediscovering the capabilities of her body and doing more rushing about. Peggy is mellowing. Ivy is as endearing as ever.

Janet is the only mystery. I've increased the dosage of probiotics because she sneezed a few times last week and it appears to have helped her.

Saturday morning I'll call to see if I can pick up the new pullets and if so, that'll give me lots of excitement for months
