Hi Grammy haven't seen you for a while, is everything ok?

Sure, I've just stepped back and working on some decisions.

I will say, I finally got brave enough to drive his truck, since its the only working vehicle. It's helping to go out for awhile a couple times a week.

Egg update

The neighbours weren't home both times I popped by, so there are no eggs for Mary yet. However, she was off the nest for about six hours yesterday.

If it takes a couple more days for me to meet up with the neighbours and have eggs for her, she might use the time to settle down a little more. Or decide brooding is not right just now. Either way works for me.

So it's all working out.

So far, Mary has been off the nest for four hours today, with no sign of going back it yet.

Perhaps the cold and wet weather has put her off.
