I'm not able to tell the breeds apartYes but it's ongoing.
I think the Dorking is called Lorna. Dad's cousin Lorna was a remarkable and unique woman who was always kind and generous towards us.
It's very special to have the three little ones home safe after all the waiting and hoping![]()
Yes, me too. This will be a lot of excitement for you! (And for @BY Bob apparentlyI'm just so happy for you.![]()
Hehe, breeds are tricky! The one with white spots is Edie (Speckled Sussex), the one with a white hood is Lorna (Silver Grey Dorking), and the brown one is Katie (Blue-laced Gold Barnevelder).I'm not able to tell the breeds apart. Could you give me a color hint ?
They're quite friendly now they've recuperated from the long drive! They seem to take courage from me being nearbyThis will be a lot of excitement for you! (And for @BY Bob apparently).
I would've been happy with any of the heritage breeds, but secretly I've always been keen on Sussexes and Dorkings. And it'll be nice to have a second Barnevelder.they're gorgeous. I would've had any of those three breeds had I been able to find them locally.
I haven't a clue but it's rather suggestive that it coincides with the pullets arriving.that's lovely, but do you have an idea why they're behaving thus?
