Here's Katie in the big coop a couple of minutes before she decided to hop up onto Peggy and Ivy's roost. They were angels and simply sat quietly. She was on the roost for maybe 20 seconds before it became too much for her and she ran off into the sleepout.

It's been fascinating. I would never have thought Peggy would allow Katie on the roost

Mary's bald patch.

Edie's been off the nest all day. She's still tuk-tukking though.

If she roosts in the sleepout, I imagine Katie will give up on the big coop.

There's never a dull moment!

Edie went to the nest.

Janet's gone up to the rafter, Peggy's on the roost, Ivy's still eating, Mary is thinking about turning in, and Katie is lingering near the big coop.

She really tried.

In and out umpteen times.

She even tried Mary's roost.

And the wine barrel.

No.

She gave up and ran to the sleepout. She was *so* close though. So close.

I really do think she'd be happier outside but it's no reason to stress her out. She's almost transitioned on her own accord.
