Can individual farmers invest in their own brand and label their product according to their stocking density and accreditations? Then price the product at a higher level?

Ivy and most of her friends have loose poops this week because Janet needed a probiotic boost. She's much brighter but everyone else is feeling slightly oogy in their tummies.

Janet's doing much better after last week's probiotics. I've been observing her today, and she didn't start to sneeze until the end of the day when the air started to chill and she ate some pellets (maybe she inhaled some dust while eating?)

And the other hens are doing great too. They're doing much more dashing around and showing joie de vivre.

Here's Janet with shmutz on her face from over-enjoying her dinner

Only one sneeze so far this evening.

The matted feathers between her shoulder and ear have been like that for a few months (since the last time she was obliged to wipe her bad eye regularly).

Joyce is not yet feathered out after her surgery, so I haven't been encouraging the marauders to sleep outside. Instead they continue to sleep in the sleepout.

However they don't like using the roosting branch that the pullets liked so much. No. They like to sleep with their two friends in the mirror who are just as friendly and chatty as the marauders are
