Mary's home from this morning's run to the vet and taking some Ibuprofen on bread and the cat's leftovers. If you watch the end, you'll see a special guest star.

I don't usually let the hens eat the cat's leftovers, it's a special treat to cheer Mary up a bit.

Ivy and Peggy prefer to roost on the perch end that juts out beyond the floor. Maybe they like a cool evening breeze on their bellies.

I've had time free to honour Joyce.

She's lying down on a bed of straw, with flowers at her feet, a piece of bread to snack on, and 5c for the ferryman.

I put a lavender above her.

And put a little fence around until everything has settled.

I looked up from my seat on a tree stump and there she was!

She didn't poop on me, so polite!

It was rather sudden. Then she was in the freezer for a while until I had enough time to send her off.
