Update!!!! (Wait, its not Christmas yet

)

Poor Cosette. I gave her another bath today and she was not happy. She is drying of now but wow she was not impressed with her bath!

Anyway I soaked her for a long time (maybe an hour altogether) and then gave her Epsom salt. I am hoping she can get over this quickly and quietly. I am smashing my head right now over vent gleet.

Here are the pictures,

I have been using this https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/vent-gleet-aka-nasty-chicken-butt (Thanks Sally) which has been very helpful but I am also sick of doing this by myself! Help would be much appreciated (and pictures of your own experiences are very helpful also). Thanks!

P.S Bathing birds is unpleasant.

So this is where I will be sharing pics, stories, and updates for MKK Farms. For General info on MKK Farms check out my article for MKK Farms. https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/mkk-farms-poultry-and-rabbitry Today I went about the normal chores. First I give them food and water, then I let them out in the run, and then I collect eggs (Not to mention take LOADS of pics

though today it was pouring so I didn't do that part). When I got inside I checked on my eggs/chicks in the incubator. Four have piped and are now screaming as loudly as they can! I think they are all fertile. Stay tuned!

Mr M do you have any pics of your barred rock chicks at 4-6 weeks old? If so, I would love to see what they look like around that age. I love all your post and pics!
