I rc'vd my chicks from MM Hatchery on May 11th. I think their sex techs must have been sleeping on the job LOL
One of the breeds I ordered were Columbian Wyandottes (5 females), well I have 4 lovely females and this little guy:

I'm also wondering if one of my 5 female Barred Rocks is actually a little guy:

While I'm posting pics...out of all of my Barred Rocks chicks, this one has very different leg coloring, the others have yellow legs with the grey wash, this gal's legs are light grey with dark grey wash:

Sexing is only 90% accurate. Than means out of 10 chicks you will most likely get a roo. I started with an order of 12 pullets. I wanted a roo but took the chance on the odds and sure enough i ended up with 1 roo.. Love it when a plan comes together. LOL.. Good Luck

Your BR is a pullet, but I'm not sure about the leg color of the other- it could just be poor adherence to standard.

I ordered a total of 34 chicks (33 females, 1 male), one of my packing peanuts was a male of the same breed I ordered...plan is to keep the one I like most of the two. But my DH groaned when we realized that we most likely have 4 roos instead of 2 LOL

No problem on neighbors, closest neighbor is my brother in law, we're in the boonies :-)

My hope is that the Barred Rock with the iffy legs IS indeed a Cuckoo Maran since I have a wonderful adult CM Roo and no hens. He's a randy booger too! We got some really pretty babies from him and our Buff Minorca Gals last month.
