MN/WI Swap and Chickenstock 16-MAY-2009

OK, I would be willing to host a Swap in Hudson, WI in MAY and a Chickenstock gathering later that day.

Who can make it? Who would need to come in the night before? Camp or in my house?

I'd love to do a swap meet kind of thing, but I refuse to do it at 5am.... what do you think the interest would be if it were late morning? Then the Chickenstock.

I have plenty of room for a swap, and my property is zoned Commercial, so I don't think it will be an issue. There are a lot of folks in the area that have more than just chickens... goats, llamas, alpacas, etc. etc. so maybe we could get a fun turnout for the swap??!

I was also thinking people might be wanting to swap perrenials at that time.

I hate mornings so late morning would be awesome

We will not be staying the night because i have no chicken sitter lol. The date works for me, count me in! I may need to borrow an outlet for a heat light for the baby chicks some are gonna be pretty small yet. Let me know if i can help with anything.

I don't mind whatever time it is lol. I cant' wait. Im excited YaY! i may stay in a hotel for the night before(for my children) Tomorrow we take the car in to see what's wrong with it. (here's hoping that it's not too expensive) I did pick up a cage from that listing that someone had posted.. it was BIG. lol. but i will have mutt eggs to sell(for what i charge for my eating eggs haha) Well, i better go. I got things to do and food to grill

I will be bringing some mixed bantam chicks, maybe a few adult cochins, serama cockerels and mixes depending on what sells at the swap on the second. I can also bring hatching eggs if anyone is interested.

Post! if I can't come I at least want to see what you all are bringing. I'm glad someone could use that cage. I love craigslist for stuff. We're fencing in our field for the llamas and I think I'm getting a used gate in River Falls someone told me they have down there.
