MN/WI Swap and Chickenstock 16-MAY-2009

id be bringing mixed breed eggs. For hens i have EE's, barred rock, turkens(buff), a couple white mixes, and for the rooster, he's a black mix. I could not even begin to tell you what he is.

May 16th.....I might possibly be able to make it....Not sure if the kiddos have things going on or not yet, so need to double check...
oh I will Sydney and Ebony be there too....

I think Nola could stroll over for a short visit also....

That would be so nice...

Not sure if I would have any animals to bring over....I know I would have empty cages waiting to be filled...
But now my question is.....A swap I understand, but what is 'chickenstock'???? Just getting together afterwards, or is it something completely different...

I HAD wanted to host one but had to put my plans on the back burner because we dont have our place yet.

Dont think I would have anything to swap yet but it would be interesting to get together with other BYCers!

If anyone is interested in the birds I have before i take them to the swap this saturday let me know and i will hold off on taking them to the swap. Here are pics of what i have....

Gossimer- Hatched on Feb 11th PB cochin bantam with a very unique pattern

Bleu- Same age as gossimer, Mixed breed bantam

Ivory- Same age as the above, Light brahma/cochin cross

Lena- Blue cochin last years hatch

Bobby sue- Mixed breed bantam last years hatch Excellent layer

Billy Jo last years hatch also excellent layer and bobby sue's sister

Lil red- hatched in october of last year, serama cockerel pet quality. small but has a crooked tail and his neck feathers had been plucked out. Sweet lil guy

Big boy- Last octobers hatch PB serama cockerel PQ due to size and type

Last but not least Whitey- Serama rooster approx 1 yr old $50

I will be bringing a single comb brown legged rooster and also a dominique rooster. They are both from my Mcmurray shipment that arrived March 23rd. Mereks and Cocc. vaccinated.
