We did it! Finally have our piece of mountain paradise in Virginia. Challenges are my age (0ver 60 crowd), and starting from scratch amidst all the critters (predators) that come with mountain life. I’m told that frequently moving the coop will throw off predators to a degree. My thought is to make a mobile coop using a small utility trailer with a drop tailgate and mental mesh floor. Needs to be bear and mink/coon proof and light enough for me to handle. Ideas?

Is building a non mobile predator proof coop an option?
Mobile ones can be harder to make predator proof.

Making it movable will not keep predators away.
