Mobile question - Can't Post Pics

I haven't been able to post a picture with the mobile app(iOS). I just kinda gave up. Lol

I have an android phone and have had the same problem. It finally let me add pictured via a url, but the app crashes if I try and upload from my device. It's nice to finally be able to add pictures after about a year with the app, but having to upload them to a website, then pasting the url gets to be a pain when adding multiple pictures.

Can you try uploading via the mobile version of the site on your phone's browser?

I tried uploading a picture from my device using the mobile browser version (since uploading from my device is the problem I'm having), and it just stayed uploading for almost an hour, and never actually embedded the image.

So it's not totally my ineptitude that keeps me from posting pics via iOS in the app?

I have not been able to actually embed an image since early today. I am on my Android phone on the mobile version. I have not changed anything, it just won't embed after I click submit. What's up?

Hi, Rob,

My problem is a bit different than the few previous posts I've read:

I'm running a laptop; don't own a smartphone, ipad, or anything remotely similar, and wouldn't know how to use one if I did.

Up until several months ago, I had no problem posting pictures...I wasn't GFM then (it was recently gifted to me for 3 months), but it still won't work for me. I've lost count of the number of times I've tried.

I have been able to upload from my phone in the recent past (3 weeks ago) but not recently for some reason. I have tried countless times and then gave up. I have looked over the FAQ and nothing suggests how something that worked no longer works.

Our engineers have discovered the issue, specifically around the newest version of Chrome, and are working on a fix!

If you're having problems uploading pictures using the mobile version of the site (not the app) and are also using a different browser than Chrome, please let us know which device and browser you are using.

It is not uploading pictures on Chrome or Firefox on my Android. I can go to the desktop and get it to post there though.
