What is a moderator exactly? I was looking at my title, which used to just say "member", and now it says moderator. What in the world is that and how does that happen?!?! Excuse the stupidity please!

A moderater is someone who goes around the site and keeps it clean, helps out, and just makes sure that everything is ok.
