Moderators, I need your assistance

I want to change my avatar, but when I upload the picture to My Pictures, then select it to upload for my avatar, it still shows my old avatar for some reason. Can you guys help? The pic is the correct size and it says that the avatar is being uploaded, but still shows my old one.

Clear your browser cache and it should work.

Woah... ok nevermind I guess. I just refreshed the page and it changed.. Nevermind Mods!

I finally gave up - then all of a sudden it changed the next day.
