They could be panting because they are hot. As long as they have water and somewhere to get away from direct sun, I wouldn't worry. I guess that I wouldn't worry about them unless they were acting sick. As long as they are eating, drinking, acting like chickens, and look normal (no droopy tail, or funny colored comb, etc) then I wouldn't worry.
