After a point, the years kind of blend together. Mine
blended together a long, long time ago.

I think I might be older than you are, Mr. Forest. Truth is,
I might be older than anything you even own.

There's a few people here that remember when the movies became "talkies".

Hmmm, a lot of people seem to be older than Mr. Forrest around here
I seem to be drifting in limbo
Between the youngsters in G J & F and wise owls like yourself who know who Mel Brooks is

What is a talkie?
What I own meanwhile... I guess you could compete with this house
paint crumbles from the wall

My children are 31 and 29 this year, and they know Young Frankenstein and Cheech and Chong. Ever watch That '70's Show? Hyde's boss at the Photo Hut was Tommy Chong. Playing the same kinda guy he was in the 70's. Good stuff!

I think I have watched the 70s show once or twice
I prefer not to have to try to understand sit coms in the wee hours of the morning though

You're catching on now, Forest.

Back in the 70's, the wee hours of the morning...we didn't understand much.
Pretty sure it had something to do with the quality of the air around us back
then.

I never made it to the wee hours of the morning. After eating a washtub full of Fruit Loops, I was done for. Lost alot of weight when I quit smoking.

Oops I think my internet just had a bit of a spaz going on

I am glad I have never smoked
I hear it it very hard to quit
Kudos to you

what was the air like back in the 70s?
is this the industrial revolution I never paid attention to in school?
