I ask this question really out of a matter of interest. I was discussing the option of buying a new computer for my father, but he just told me it was beyond him how on earth to operate let alone a mobile phone, LOL

I myself aren't really one of those modern iPhone wielding, chatspeaking punks either, so to speak.

So, do you resist the new technology and the subsequent generation? Or do you embrace it and just "go with the flow"?

I actually love all technology.

It's rather fascinating!

It usually takes me longer than my peers but I tend to go with the flow. Once I got a laptop, I could never go back to a desktop. Once I got a flat screen, I could never go back to a regular TV. Once I got a Blackberry, I could never go back to a regular cell phone. I don't even have a house phone anymore. I don't see the point.

I never feel like I have to have the latest gadget but once I get it, I wonder how I lived without it. Electronic toys are fun. Technology is cool.

We recently got a cell phone this week for the first time....yeah, we were stubborn but with the calls from dd's school trying to get a hold of us was tiresome.

My parents don't have internet, only cell phone, no texting. They could not figure out how to voice mail LOL! They are in the mid and late 60's.

We loved the computers and internet and IM but very slow about cell phones. Now we are warming up to it while we were learning. Now if I can get my cell to work like a TTY, I'll be happy!

I would go with the flow.

Yeah, I agree with SpeckledHen's father is saying about computers are ruining the world, in a way it is...rude manners, no socialization but it has its fun times!
