Interesting about the zip ties.. I would think black would break down quicker as the darker color would attract the sun and get hotter ?

One suggestion - I'd cap those metal posts with a plastic top (designed for metal posts) to prevent horsie from impaling himself (or herself).

I am not sure what all the zip ties are for? Are they holding everything together? I would get a pair of wire cutters and cut the ends of all the zip ties off so that your birds do not poke their eyes out.

My horse wasn't too thrilled when we started turning the stalls into coops. Now the poor bugger is out in the pasture totally miffed because all he has left is an out door shed. I told him when he decided to make me breakfast he could have a stall back. I walked away before he lifted his tail.

Looks great! Keep up the good work. I love the stall projects. So much room and options.
