I get that too. I guess people don't know us well yet and can't think of anything to say. Most of the time its just chat on the threads anyway so I think that's a lot of it. They just talk and our threads get lost in the abundance of more threads. Don't take it personally. I'm sorry if I haven't replied to yours before. There are so many threads on here its impossible to reply to them all. Not to mention as soon as I reply it seems there's more new ones on there too. LOL

Sorry if ya'll "don't feel like you fit in" in chat. We're just a bunch of goof balls. It's hard to know what to say to someone new in chat besides, hi, how old r u, where r u from, how many and what breed of chickens. I hope you peeps that feel like you don't fit in will give chat another try. We'd love to have new faces in chat!

I've posted before and then got (*crickets-crickets-crickets*)
I don't take it personal, It's just that sometimes people just don't have anything to say about my topic and don't feel the need to clutter the site with posts that won't do anyone any good.
Of course...I DO post some goof ball topics from time to time...

But other times I get loads and loads of comments because I peaked someone's intrests or asked for help with something they all know about etc...

Just like this topic, You asked a reasonable question...needed support etc.. and now there's 195 + posts and replies expressing concern...
With the exception of maybe 2 out of the hundreds of actice people on this forum, we ALL want to be frendly, help people, share our various knowledge, and just be a sounding board whenever possible.

And with that, I'm gonna eat my breakfast apple!

Most of these replies are people poking each other in the eye and goofing off. Most of the people that do that have known each other for a great long time and have a LOT in common. It takes a while for the "Newbe" to get to know everybody.
I only know a few people from their posts and only one "Real" person and I've been on here for a year or so...
