Rosie walked, exhausted, into SkyHerd territory - although she didn't know that. She had been running for miles, trying to escape the fire that had ruined her ranch. Then, she looked around. This is horse territory. I know it. Look at the poop over there... As she looked around, she could see another horse in the distance. Her heart jumped.

Apollo nodded slightly, then continued walking to the water hole. He tried to toss his mane out of his face, but couldn't as it was sticking to his face from his tears.

Sienna saw Rosie and whinnied to her.

Ariel gently bit his mane with her teeth and drug it off his face. "There."

"Thanks." He managed to say hoarsly. He collapsed next to the water hole, looking in at the water.

Rosie heard a whinny, and then realized it was directed at her. She trotted to the horse in the distance, ignoring her exhaustion and putting on her "Diva" facade. As she got closer, she looked up to the tall horse (Rose is only 6 hands), and said. "Hello."

"Hello." Sienna greeted her, looking down.

"Your welcome." Ariel responded. She lay down beside him and comfortingly licked him.

Apollo quietly whimpered, wishing Twilight and Blaze were there. He closed his eyes, and decided to try and put that out of his mind. He let Ariel lick him, then nuzzled her thankfully.

Ariel nuzzled him back and wracked her brain for something to do...anything to get his mind off Twilight and Blaze.
