Aiden stood at the edges of camp, wondering how he was going to introduce the foals he had come to know.
"Uncle Adden! I'm hungry," Russell whined.
"I'm hungry and thirsty!" Sorrel said.
"I'm hungry, and thirsty, and tired!" Russell shot back. Soon they were arguing again.
Aiden shook his head and chuckled, smiling ruefully. Foals were nerve-racking, it was true, but they were fun to have around. His smile vanished as he thought about what he had to do. "Come on, guys, let's go meet those other horses," he sighed.
"I'm a girl!" Sorrel protested.
"Come on guy and girl, then," Aiden said. With no further asking, the Budyonny twins rocketed into the herd, Sorrel tripping over a rock, flying into the air, and landing with a thud next to Ariel and Apollo.
"Er, hewwo! I'm Sorrel," she said, scrambling to her feet. "Brudder, Uncle Adden wasn't lying!" she called. "There are udder horses!"
Russell trotted over and looked at the two new horses. "Are you horses?" he asked curiously.
Rosie could see this new horse wasn't.... um.... avaliable..... So she grunted, "Ugh," like, this isn't worth my time, and trotted around the area looking for something to do.
