"Twilight no longer belongs to SkyHerd. She is a loner."

"She is with Jet now, and he is clearly a traitor to SkyHerd. And--never mind." Flip turned away.
"What were you going to say?"
"Neither of them requested to foal together. And yet... somehow I suspect that they have."
"Why?"
"Why wouldn't they? If they did in secret, no one would know until Twilight was obvious, and then everyone would think the foal was mine."
"They would?"
"All except me. I've never foaled with her, you see."
"Ah." Both were quiet for a moment, and then Ivy spoke.
"Do you trust Aaron?"
"Partly. But he just came. Legally, I cannot trust him until he has not shown any sign of rebellion after two full months."
"He seems nice, but so do Jet's brothers."
