Ariel awoke and ran over to Sprite. She tugged on her tail. then ran around to hide behind Sienna.

The entire time, Dusty did not partake in battle, nor did she retreat with the others to the forest. Something unreadble glinted in her dark gaze.

She crept noiselessly to Shadowherd in a casual trot, the beautiful mare's mane blowing in a blaze of what could be likened to a snow-misted blizzard wind.

What would we do if we fight back now? They have more horses than we do.
