Sky finally tired of running, trudged back to the herd, panting slightly. Several blackbird feathers stuck out at odd angles from her mane, and her tail was filled with burrs.
"Hello" she wheezed smiling, trying to appear small as she made her way through the herd to a clear place where she could collapse.
