Jingo trotted over and noticing the expression on both horses faces she knew exactly what was going on. Fritz looked over at her and a knowing expression came onto his face. She shouldered her way between them before a fight could break out and looked Fritz right in the eye "Her time will come" She whispered "But not yet"

She froze in place briefly, afraid of the thing because she'd never seen a predator before, but instinct kicked in stronger than even fear and she charged. Turning backward, she bucked it hard with her hooves.

Twilight followed. She knew that smell from a mile away. A mountain lion. They roamed where she used to live and was a big danger. She lost a few friends to mountain lions, and now she wanted some sort-of revenge.
