A wolf leapt from it's hideout and latched it's jaws onto the panting Dusty's hindleg. She almost grinned; that wasn't a smart move on his part. She booted it's forehead with her other leg, leaving the wolf dazed, dizzy, and soon it flopped to the ground unconcious. She winced at her leg, angry, starkly contrasted rips of red drawn across her pale, cream leg.

The others waited for another unsuspecting horse to cross their paths, some still unnoticed and others hiding poorly.

Apollo didn't hear her last words but kept following, catching up. "Where are we going?" He asked Shadow, panting.
