A man, unseen by the "two-legs", was resting his arms on the fence of the paddock where Blaze and Twilight had fought. Holly sat by his side.
"Do you know what you just did?" he inquired, gruffly, of the other men.

Apollo sighed, and stood up. He walked over to the clover patch, the usual bounce in his step gone. He grazed silently for a while, looking at the ground.

Ariel followed slowly, dredging each step slowly. There was a hole, and her heart ached for those missing.

Lydia walked up to Bandit. "Hi!"

Bandit smiled. "Hi, Lydia." He turned away and watched Adelphie, who had still not shown any attention to the fact that Shadow was dead.

Apollo kept grazing, tears welling up in his eyes. He tried blinking them out, but they wouldn't dissapear. Finally, Apollo just collapsed, sobbing his heart out. His fore-head was resting on the ground, his long, thick mane covering his face.

Ariel's heart broke for him. "Shhh, shhh. She will be okay." she murmured, licking his tears.

Apollo sniffed. "No, no it won't." He said, inconvinced.
