The two-legs walked a tall mare onto SkyHerd. "Err... Hi..." Blaze sighed. The foals started nursing.

Twilight stared at the mare momentarily before walking to a tree and falling asleep, Giuseppe following.

"Twilight!" Blaze sighed.

Startled, she got to her feet, sliding a bit on the needles and falling sideways again. How had her mother known where to find her? The question was puzzling, and she got to her feet, eyes wide with surprise and shock. "How dwid you know twere to find me?" she asked, bewildered.

"I can see Gemma..." Layla sighed. "Now come nap. You have to listen to me from now on, okay?!".

"Yes, mummy," she mumbled, following her back to the others. Her answer was puzzling. She could 'see'? Gemma shrugged. It must be some special ability only mothers possessed.

She lay down quietly, putting her head on her forelegs and giving a long snort. She didn't feel like sleeping, and flicked her ears about to listen to any other enjoyable sounds.

"Gemma, sleep or nurse. But if you choose sleep, then SLEEP!" Layla said sternly.

"Layla!" gasped Bella, Warlock trotting behind. Quickly she realized she'd allowed her big mouth to get the better of her, and she regretted ever saying anything, but motherhood was something she felt very deeply about. "Don't you think you're being a little... strict?" she asked quietly.

"Then nurse..." Layla said to Gemma.

Grumpily Gemma rose to her feet and started to suckle. She refused to even listen to her mummy, and her tail swished irritably.

"Oof!"

The silence surrounding Phoebe was broken by the grunt of a young Stallion. He'd been wading in the water, not paying attention to his surroundings, thoroughly enjoying the calmness of night, and he bumped right into Phoebe. "I am so sorry!" whispered the Stallion, his ears limply falling back in embarassment and shame, his dark chocolate eyes glancing once at the ground and again meeting hers, "Forgive me, I wasn't watching where I was going."

He had a base undercoat of a dark bay color, each hair ending in silver at the ends, making him appear as though he'd been misted by a snowy blizzard wind. Dark patches of the same chestnut color were dappled all around his body, a large shield of it masking his face like war paint, a short, light blonde forelock dangling over it. His build was but slightly above average in muscularity, though he was quite a handsome horse overall.

Roxanne sat in her rickety old stall, feeling secluded from the rest of the world. Even if the spaces around her were occupied, none of the horses other than Yang were sociable or friendly. Suddently she heard the clanging of rubber boots against the barn; seemingly the atrocious sound of two leg feet were prancing towards her. The mare shut her eyes tight and braced herself for the worse.
