Mold on brand new chicken coop- help!

Agreed, however I looked at the pictures again, no sign of any pressure treated wood, and the wood I saw was super cheap pine, if the seller charged 1800 for pressure treated lumber, theres already a very big discrepancy, and then there's mold on the cheap pine lumber... sounds like there's a huge gap between the advertized product and what was delivered.

Image 0187 appears to show that some older wood was cut to size.
Side of that piece has what looks like lichen, top of the piece looks like a fresh saw cut.
The mold, fungus, lichen probably grew on lumber sitting around for awhile.
It does look like pressure treated.

I would like to see the whole coop and run.

It probably isn't going to cause any harm,
will probably dry out and organisms will die,
unless it's in a damp shady place.

Would I be ticked off?... for sure.
But it might just have to be a 'buyer beware lesson learned' thing.

The wood is definitely treated, as for the black spots those might be a mold. The whiteish green is residue left from the treatment process. I honestly think you are worrying too much. $1800 I am moving to where you live and building chicken coops lol. Also I believe there are ways to kill mold without toxins like say bleach and water on a rag and rub it down. Good luck
