I wouldn't guarantee that pressure treated wood isn't just as toxic.I'd be upset too, can you return it? Mold is possibly toxic to the birds, depending on strain, and those pictires don't look like treated wood to me...

Welcome to BYC! We’re glad you’re here. This is a 2017 thread, probably came up on a search.Mold is a common problem in chicken coups. Wet shavings and not enough ventilation can be the most common causes. Do not use bleach , it is not good for the chickens. Use 50/50 vinegar and water to kill the mold. In a brand new coup mold can develop and even take over in just a couple of weeks. Especially if it is really humid. I also suggest a fan or something to move the air around.
