Mold on scrapes

I used to take care of yards of homes with back yard chickens. I noticed that they gave them melons and other foods, but it always had a large amount of mold. I like the composting and table scrap idea for my future chickens, but is mold on food safe?

Nope, mold is not for man nor beast. It is best to not use any thing or feed with mold on it.

well i cut mold off my cheese and bread and it is completly safe..do some checking....now full on mold that goes to the core is just common sense....many fruits and veggies that mold are slimey ect its just common sense...cut it off if just surface...
